Virtual air traffic control for the Mountain West on the VATSIM network.
ZLC (Salt Lake City Center) is one of 22 Air Route Traffic Control Centers in the VATSIM United States Division. Our airspace covers approximately 283,000 square miles across portions of Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Oregon.
We provide air traffic control services for major airports including Salt Lake City International (KSLC), Boise (KBOI), Jackson Hole (KJAC), Bozeman (KBZN), Great Falls (KGTF), Helena (KHLN), Missoula (KMSO), and many more across the Mountain West.
Under direction of the TA, leads training and handles OTS examinations.
Under direction of the TA, helps train students and prepare them for OTS examinations.
Assists the Events Coordinator in creating and propagating events.
Assists the Facility Engineer with sector files, radar client files, and resources.
Builds and maintains zlcartcc.org and the supporting tooling under the Webmaster.
