Join vZDC and vZLC for a coast-to-mountain Friday Night Operations event showcasing two of the nation’s most iconic regions. From the historic monuments of Washington, D.C. to the breathtaking national parks of Utah, this event brings together two vastly different flying experiences in one unforgettable night. On the east, vZDC will feature Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (KDCA), placing pilots in the heart of the capital. Out west, vZLC will staff Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC) to provide support around the mountainous terrain in the area. During the event, vZDC and vZLC would like to offer pilots a challenge: complete two flights during the event with one in or out of DCA and another one in or out of SLC. Test your skills across both coasts as you transition from congested East Coast airspace to the high terrain of the West. Whether you're following the river into DCA or managing climbs over the Wasatch Range out of SLC, expect full staffing, heavy traffic, and an exciting experience.
